Exteriors

Canvas is optimized for interior spaces, but you can use it to scan exterior structures too. However, you may find it difficult to capture roofs and multi-story buildings due to the range of your device’s LiDAR sensor (about 16 feet).

Canvas is capable of processing exterior scans into 3D CAD models, and will include (where captured) facades, siding, balconies, decks, porches, steps, courtyards, and other structural or built-in elements. Models will not include yard decor, fences, driveways, landscaping, plants, or other natural elements. Exterior processing is not available for 2D floor plans.
